ITOJARA

How it works

These steps describe the product marketplace as it operates in Nigeria now. ITOJARA is preparing for broader participation. Artisan services, professional-service booking, and international trading are part of the longer-term vision and are not available.

For buyers

  1. Register a customer account and accept the current draft policies.
  2. Verify the email address before relying on the account.
  3. Search published products in the shop.
  4. Open a product to see the published offer.
  5. Use Procurement when a quotation is needed. A quotation is not an order.
  6. Add a product to the cart and create an order with a delivery address.
  7. Pay only through the payment step shown on the order. If Paystack is in test mode for that environment, the payment is not a live charge and is not revenue.
  8. Follow shipment status. Delivery dates and carriers are not guaranteed by the marketplace.
  9. Before shipment, one full refund can be requested and completes only after the provider confirms it. After delivery, use a return. Support is by order complaint or email.

For sellers

  1. Register a seller account and accept the current draft seller agreement.
  2. Enter the legal name, country, and seller classification. Documents are not collected.
  3. Submit the profile. An administrator approves, rejects, or later suspends it.
  4. Create products. A listing is public only after it is published.
  5. Reply to quotation requests from the supplier RFQ pages.
  6. Manage paid orders from the supplier order pages.
  7. Record shipment and delivery. A suspension stops new selling and does not cancel an already paid order.
  8. Read earnings as accrual records: gross, platform fee, and net. They are not a bank payment.
  9. No automatic supplier payout runs. A platform fee is recorded only when an approved rate applies. No rate is activated by these pages.

Checkout shows a goods subtotal and a payable total. It does not add a separate tax or shipping line. That is not a tax exemption and not a promise of free delivery.
